Adventurous and Dedicated Young Professional Seeking European Opportunities

My name is Jackson Borcherding, and I’m an energetic and motivated young professional from the Pacific Northwest, currently based in Milan. With a deep-rooted passion for fashion and a strong drive to learn through hands-on experience, I’m seeking an internship opportunity in Europe for the summer of 2025.

After graduating from high school in June 2024, I made the intentional decision to pursue a non-traditional path—one focused on immersing myself directly in the fashion industry. I moved to Milan in September 2024 and enrolled at Milan Fashion Campus, where I completed a Men's Streetwear Design course last fall. I’m currently wrapping up an Accessory Design course (to be completed by May 2025) and am in the process of applying to attend Istituto Secoli full-time starting in October 2025.

Before moving to Europe, I built a strong work ethic and practical skills through a variety of roles in Portland, Oregon’s bustling restaurant scene. Working as a server, cashier, host, and pizza maker taught me the value of adaptability, teamwork, and excellent customer service. I’m known for being dependable, calm under pressure, and great at connecting with people—skills I know will serve me well in any fashion internship.

Beyond academics and work, I enjoy skateboarding, exploring streetwear trends, traveling, and working on my vintage 1990 Mercedes Benz C-Class, a car gifted to me by my grandfather that reflects my appreciation for design and craftsmanship.

I’m eager to contribute my energy, creativity, and growing knowledge to a team that’s passionate about fashion and innovation. I would love the chance to connect and discuss how I can support your work this summer.
